Crane’s Landing Golf Club offers a uniquely challenging, yet enjoyable golf experience. Designed in 1975 by famed architect George Fazio, the par 70 layout is spread over 110 acres of scenic woodlands with vistas of the bordering Des Plaines River.
Mature tree lined fairways lead to tightly bunkered elevated green complexes that demand accuracy. A relatively short and friendly opening 7 holes transition into a shot-making test, as the river comes into play along a difficult closing stretch. Players are tested to shape tee shots on several long dogleg par 4s with surrounding water hazards. Perhaps the most picturesque and challenging holes though are the par 3s – which feature increasingly longer forced carries on holes 9, 12, and 16.
From start-to-finish players of all skill levels can relax and take in the tranquil beauty of this Audubon International Certified nature reserve. At Crane’s Landing you will find a true golf getaway in every respect!
